First visit
Your first visit, step by step
About 45 minutes. No health form on the website: the doctor asks you in person, in private.
- 01
Step 1: Check in
At the front desk, in English or Spanish: your name and phone, and what you brought.
- 02
Step 2: Talk
The doctor asks what happened and how you feel, answers your questions and takes notes.
- 03
Step 3: Exam
A hands-on exam. X-rays only when medically necessary, and the doctor tells you why first.
- 04
Step 4: The cost, in writing
Before any care, you get the cost in writing. If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us.
- 05
Step 5: Care, if you agree
Your doctor explains the risks first. You can say no to any part. You get an itemized receipt.
