Chiropractic care in Pearland
Emergency care comes first. When you are ready, a chiropractor sees you, explains what a visit involves and how the bills are handled.

After an accident
Nobody has to decide anything on the day. This is the order that makes sense.
Go to an emergency room or urgent care, or call your own doctor, even if you feel fine. Some aches show up hours or days later.
Where and when it happened, who you spoke to, what you feel. Keep every paper from the day in one folder.
We start with a talk and a hands-on exam. We set no deadline, and nobody from this office will contact you first.
Auto medical coverage, your health plan, or you. We explain how each works and put the cost in writing first.

Paying
Three ways a visit gets paid. We explain each one before care begins, and you get the cost in writing.
Many auto policies include medical payments or personal injury protection. If yours does, we can bill it as the policy allows. The policy decides what it pays, so we ask you to check yours.
We bill most PPO plans. We tell you what a plan may not pay before your first visit, including any copay or deductible.
You get a written estimate in advance and an itemized receipt after each visit. You can send the receipt to any plan that reimburses.
You check in at the front desk, then talk with the doctor and have a hands-on exam. The doctor explains what they found and what a plan could look like. X-rays are taken only when medically necessary. If you were hurt in a crash, bring any papers from the emergency room or your own doctor. The first-visit page lists everything.
Every kind of care has risks. Soreness after an adjustment is common and usually short. Rare serious problems have been reported after neck adjustments, so your doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you can say no to any part of a visit. If you have a sudden severe headache or neck pain, new weakness or numbness, chest pain, or loss of bladder or bowel control, call 911 or see a physician first.
Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. What decides it is the exam and your own goals. We do not promise a number of visits, and you can stop at any time.
We bill most PPO plans and, after a crash, the medical coverage on an auto policy where the policy allows it. What a plan pays differs from plan to plan, so ask us about yours. The page on how fees work has the details.
Only when medically necessary. If your doctor thinks an x-ray is needed, they tell you why before it is taken. If the emergency room already took images, ask them for a copy and bring it.
That is common after a crash. Bring the papers you have, and tell the doctor what the other provider found and advised. With your written permission we can ask them for records. We work alongside your physician and never replace one.
Send a note and we will answer the way you ask. We never contact anyone about an accident first.
